Genesis Bible Study

Genesis is a story of origins, beginning with the universal context of the creation of the world. Then Genesis narrows the focus to human origins and eventually to the origin of Israel. The often entertaining stories help answer questions of identity. The study is led by Dr John Hull.

Wednesday Bible Study

The earliest of our canonical gospels, Mark paints a radical picture of Jesus and the Reign of God. Mark is by far the shortest of the biblical gospels. Join this study led by Dr John Hull. Offered on Wednesdays at 10:30 am and 6:30 pm.

An Evening at the Farm

Unique fundraising evening benefits Youth Mission and Ministry. An incredible evening of food, fellowship, and good clean fun on the picturesque Melder Farm in eastern Jefferson County. Evening begins with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. Farm-to-Table cuisine catered by Callahan’s Catering. Live music. Silent auction. Tickets $40 per person.

Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night

Grab your yellow shirts and overalls! Families with children from infants through fifth grade are invited to a Minions-themed Family Fun Night. Our evening beginswith dinner in Chalice Hall at 6 pm. The church will provide the main dish. Families with last names A-L are asked to bring a side dish, and families last name M-Z are asked to bring desserts.

Prayer provides a means for constant contact with God and as a way to strengthen the bonds within the faith community. Fully aware of its importance, Paul also asks for prayer for himself. He wants to proclaim a faithful message “with “boldness.”

For third to fifth grade children. Please RSVP to the church office by Wednesday, August 26. Cost is $20 which covers admission to the museum center, transportation costs, and dinner on the way home. Bring a sack lunch.
