A movement for wholeness in a fragmented world.

Worship with hope

Welcome to Worship!

Although there is something happening every day at our church, our most important time together is when we gather to offer our praise and prayers to God during worship. Clothing varies from casual to formal, but generally we accept God’s invitation to “come as we are!” Most people describe our services as uplifting. There is more emphasis on love than law, more grace than guilt, more joy than judgment. Please join us this weekend.

Sunday 9 am Contemporary

Our contemporary service includes upbeat music from our Praise Team, a meaningful message, and a communion celebration that is open to all.

Sunday 11 am Traditional

Our traditional service includes familiar hymns, anthems presented by the Beargrass Choir, an inspiring sermon, and opportunities for reflection and meditation during communion.

Saturday 5:30 pm Chapel

Our beautiful chapel is a wonderful setting for those who prefer a small, more intimate worship experience. The service includes, familiar hymns, a helpful message, and communion.

Seasonal Special Services

Beargrass also offers meaningful special services during the seasons of Lent and Holy Week, Advent and Christmas, as well as on other occasions.

Sunday Fellowship

Stop by the coffee table outside Chalice Hall. Everyone is encouraged to share in fellowship with one another before or after each service or on your way to Sunday School. Coffee is served by our Youth families and supports youth mission trips. The delicious coffee is brewed from freshly ground beans roasted by Sunergos. The coffee is fairly traded and represents just and sustainable relationships.

Quality childcare is available on our ARK (Always Reaching Kids) wing for children kindergarten age and under. During the 9 am contemporary service, elementary-age children are invited to remain in the sanctuary following the children’s moment. During the 11 am traditional service, an age-appropriate worship activity is provided for children in 1st-3rd grades. After the offering in the sanctuary, the Minister to Children leads the children to Room 213 for their own worship experience. Parents or grandparents are expected to pick up their children immediately following the service.
